The Community of Praise Prayer Group is the result of a Life in the Spirit Seminar offered at St. Paul, North Canton, over the year of
Covid- 2020. The Life in the Spirit seminar is a program intended to advance people to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ , through the power of the Holy Spirit. It encourages people to give praise and glory to God, to offer to one another prayer and support in the Christian life, and teaching based on the solid ground of the teachings of the Catholic Church.
The Life in the Spirit Seminar was originally planned by Magnificat, A Ministry to Catholic Women, in Stark County, Ohio. The group prefers that all its members attend a Life in the Spirit Seminar in order to become more acquainted with the power and action of the Holy Spirit. When the Seminar was offered, many men and women attended and the need for a follow-up regularly meeting prayer group became evident. Thus, the "Community of Praise" was born! The Community of Praise meets at 6:30 pm on the second Monday of each month at the Walsh University, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Chapel. Upcoming meeting dates are: June 14, July 12, August 9, September 13, October 11, November 8 and December 13, 2021.
